- What do I need to start?
- A Google account and some documents: a Drive folder you can share, or files to upload. Vault reads PDFs, Word files, Google Docs, Sheets and Slides, and plain text. PowerPoint and Excel files aren't readable yet.
- What if the answer isn't in our documents?
- Vault says so instead of guessing, and points people to whoever you name. Until you set someone, that's your workspace admin.
- Does Vault get access to my Google Drive?
- No. Signing in with Google gives Vault nothing in your Drive. It reads only the folders you share with it, and you can stop sharing any time.
- Can your team see our documents?
- Only by opening your workspace with a stated reason, and each time is recorded in your activity log. The owner can export the workspace's data any time, and ask us to delete it.
